Growing up Victoria was always active, taking dance for eight years and doing gymnastics for two years. When her parents could no longer afford to pay for those classes, she felt lost trying to find ways to stay active. She tried boot camps and going to the gym but those simply weren’t for her. Her routine became going to school, doing homework, eating, sleeping…and repeat. That routine caused too much stress and depression due to the lack of any self-care.
In her second year at Orange Coast College she decided to try out a Pilates class as an extra unit.
After the first class she fell in love and applied to the program, staying an extra year to get her certificate. During her training she realized how much her health was coming back, her stress was reduced, and her depression became more manageable. She received her certificate in May 2019 and began as an instructor at Kamala Rose Pilates in August. Her goal is to help clients become stronger mentally and physically.
When Victoria isn’t teaching she is studying at Cal State Fullerton for her Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism and Entertainment with a minor in Cinema, Television, and Visual Arts. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her Siberian Husky, Haku, watching movies with her family, listening to music, and reading.
